Individual Counselling for children, young people and adults.

Welcome

Welcome to blc therapy.Hi, I’m Bonnie, an Accredited Social Worker and Counsellor and I have been practicing in the mental health field for over ten years.I'm based in Newcastle, NSW, and work with children, young people and adults navigating life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, complex trauma, neurodivergence and bipolar disorder. What makes my practice different is my grounded, down-to-earth approach. I believe therapy should feel real, human and liberating, not clinical or cold. I bring compassion, curiosity and humour to my work, holding space for people to explore the hard stuff while reconnecting with their strengths and sense of self.
My approach is client-led, trauma-informed and flexible, drawing on a range of therapies like ACT, CBT, DBT and narrative work, all guided by what’s most helpful to you. At its heart, my work is about supporting people to feel more connected, empowered and free.
I take both private clients and NSW Victims Services referrals, and offer sessions in-person or via Telehealth. You're welcome to reach out if you're curious, need support, or are exploring options for someone you care about.
